M.K.B. Mahila B.Ed. Mahavidyalaya is managed and run by Maya Kanwar Ba Mahila Vikas Samiti, a registered society under Rajasthan Society Registration Act. 1958.The College is situated at Shivaji Marg, Nehru Nagar, Jaipur with a campus of 6985.40 sq. Mtr. Area. The College is hardly 3 Kms. from Jaipur Junction Rly. Station and Central Bus stand.The College aims at developing value-based-knowledge at various fields of education and thereby to uplift the society in education. The College has the infrastructural, instructional and other academic facilities as per norms and standards of National Council for Teacher Education.
The College have a well-equipped Science Laboratory, a Psychology Laboratory, an Education Technology Laboratory and a rich Library as per the norms and guidelines of the NCTE. The required well qualified teaching and non-teaching staff have been recruited. Maya Kanwar Ba Mahila vikas Samiti came into existence into the year 1969 is registered under Rajasthan Society Registration Act 1958 vide Registration No. 99/1969-70 dated 30th July 1969 and the Registered office is situated at Shivaji Marg, Nehru Nagar, Jaipur- 302 016.The Society is running a Senior Secondary School under the name M.K.B. Sr. Secondary School affiliated to Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, Ajmer Since the year 1970. This is a co-educational Hindi Medium School up to Middle level and the Secondary & Senior Secondary levels are exclusively for girls. In the year 2004 the Society started The Tagore Biotech College at Mansarovar. Though it was initially for the Girls in the year 2004, it is no Co- educational from academic session 2005-06.
The Society was allotted a plot of land measuring about 3 aeries in the year 2001 by Rajasthan Housing Board in Sector -7, Mansarovar for setting up a Girls nursing Training Center. The Society has come up with Ultra-modern multi specialty & super specialty hospital with a proposed capacity of 300 beds with all modern facilities. The prime motto of the Society is the upliftment of women in the society especially from the backward and weaker sections. As a part of fulfillment of the aim, the Society initially started with a Senior Secondary School for girls and then for the Girls Nursing Training Center and now the B. Ed. College for women.
The Secretary of the Society Mr. P. D. Singh is the Director of the School and Biotech College run by the Society and also the Director of a Chain of schools popularly known "Tagore Group of Schools" run and managed by Tagore Vidya Bhawan Society in which he is also the Secretary Mr. P. D. Singh has been active in the field of education for the last 48 years in Rajasthan who is a dynamic and eminent the institution. Under his control a chain of 15 schools are run under Tagore Vidya Bhawan Society both English Medium under the banner of Tagore Public School and Hindi Medium under the banner of Tagore Vidya Bhawan affiliated with Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi and Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, Ajmer respectively. Tagore Vidya Bhawan Society is also running a Girls College at Vaishali Nagar. Under the able leadership of Mr. P. D. Singh all the Institutions run and managed by both Maya Kanwar Ba Mahila Vikas Samiti and Tagore Vidya Bhawan Society are progressing fast. A total Strength of more than 15,000 students are getting their education through these institutions at the present.Besides, a dedicated team of qualified and experienced staff is supporting him to carry out the management and administration property.
